Fewer Flies in Manhattan

There are fewer flies in Manhattan than there are in the outer boroughs because the population density is higher in Manhattan. There are more people to kill the flies in Manhattan.The second one from the right looks particularly nasty.

I found 10 or 15 Mouse Droppings in the Closet the other day

Because there were more than 5 droppings, there must have been 2 mice. Either that or the mouse left and returned at a later date.
