Ability to memorize music lyrics dissappears as you get older

The older you get, the more difficult it is to memorize music lyrics. At 30, I have already lost the ability to memorize rap. Rock is next followed by punk. Country is the last one to go. I will be able to memorize country lyrics well into my 70's...phew.
