Male Singers vs. Female Singers

I find male singers far more entertaining than female singers. Ironically, I can't think of a falsetto male singer that I don't enjoy.

Rock Battle III: Chris Cornell vs. Chad Kroeger

Chad Kroeger is the "nice guy" frontman for one of the all time lamest bands, NicklebackChris Cornell was the lead singer for two monumental rock bands, Soundgarden and AudioslaveHmm, the lame rocker versus the rocker who takes himself entirely too seriously. Chris Cornell has to be the winner of this battle. First of all, Nickelback does not rock...they suck. Also, Chad Kroeger sat next to my wife on a flight and acted like a total knob. Finally, and most importantly, Kroeger loses because he is Canadian and has terrible hair.

Rock Battle II: Keith Richards vs. Keith Moon

Keith Moon is considered by many the greatest drummer of all time
Keith Richards is a member of one of the greatest rock bands of all time, the Rolling Stones.The edge goes to Keith Richards. No matter how good a drummer Keith Moon was, he is dead and Keith Richards is the undead.

Rock Battle #1 Tom Petty vs. Rick Ocasek

The first in an ongoing series of Rock Battles. I will select the winner based on various nebulous and unnamed criteria. In addition, those criteria will change with every battle.

Rick Ocasek of the Cars

Tom Petty of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and The Traveling Wilburys

At the end of the day, Tom Petty clearly rocks harder. Also, Rick Ocasek did have a couple of odd music videos but Tom Petty holds the record for most weird videos in the world.
